A curable reducer that thins plastisol ink without weakening it. It drops the viscosity so the ink prints smoother through higher mesh counts and feels softer on the shirt, and it still cures at normal plastisol temperatures.

DETAILS

USE: Lower plastisol viscosity for a softer hand and cleaner prints through fine mesh
WORKS WITH: plastisol ink
MIXING: Warm the ink to printing temperature and stir it thoroughly first. A 5 percent addition by weight lowers the viscosity of most plastisols by around 25 percent, so work in small additions. Within the recommended range it will not shift the ink's cure temperature. Past 10 percent you start trading away opacity and bleed resistance and can affect cure. Always pull a test print after you reduce.

Reducer is not a fix for old or badly stored ink, it is for dialling in viscosity on good ink. For heavy-bodied whites and blockers, Avient's concentrated Viscosity Buster (K2910) at 0.5 to 3 percent is the better tool.
